The governor said the 100m will kick starts the works as his government continues to seek more funds from other partners.

“We want to support our talents that is why we are moving with speed to construct the stadium. The PS has left the country to attend the commonwealth games in Australia but immediately he jets back, he will come here with officials from his ministry to finalise the plans as we start the construction works,” Samboja added.

In his bid to support youth talents, the governor has already launched the county football team which is currently taking part in the FKF league division 2 with its home ground being Dawson Mwanyumba.
